Have you heard of them? They're called Tegu Blocks. They're magnetic, naturally dyed, handcrafted in Honduras and are AMAZING!
We play and build with a lot of blocks in our house. When a new set of blocks arrived at the door, the boys were super excited! Not only can you build cool structures with these blocks but they are magnetized so you can make super cool things at all different angles.
My son told me this was a hotdog roaster for the cottage ;)
Both my five year old and two year old loved the blocks. It was amazing to see the creations they made. The larger box has 24 blocks ($64.95) and the smaller box has 14 blocks ($34.95). I felt like having both size boxes was the perfect amount of blocks and they don't take up a ton of space. They fit perfectly in a toy bin.
If you have kids that love blocks, I guarantee you these will be a hit in your house. A fresh.fabulous.sophisticated Christmas gift!! Head over to Mastermind Toys to check out these blocks and their awesome toys!!

ReplyDeletePicture of my mother, drawn by my two year old and framed by my husband, three months after her death. Sure, a bit sadder than a shiny ipod, but very special to me to this day.

My favourite favourite Christmas gift was the game Mouse Trap that my dad got me when I was 11. I think that was the last Christmas gift he ever got me...
ReplyDeleteI think my favourite Christmas present from when I was a kid was a teddy bear that I named Zezzy toted around with me for years!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas present was an X-Wing fighter from Hasbro. I think I was around 10 or so, and my cousin, and our friends all got either an X-Wing or Tie Fighter. We used to play Star Wars for hours.
ReplyDeleteLast year my husband gifted me monthly house cleaning. The Best Gift EVER!
ReplyDeleteBest present ever is a tough one...my darling, beautiful, intelligent daughter got me a Cuisinart food processor last year. That was pretty darned nice. Rivals the Kitchenaid mixer my hubby got me many years ago. :)

The best gift must have been when my little brother was born on Christmas Day at 24 weeks. It was such a busy and stressful day yet we all spent it in the hospital together as a family. I will never forgot that day! To see him now almost 13 years old puts a big smile on my face.
