Now that our little guy is sharing his new digs with his big brother, our baby girl needed a place to rest her pretty head. After decorating two boy nurseries and boy rooms I was very excited to venture over to the land of pink. This baby girl may not want a pink bedroom when she's a teenager, but for now, before she can protest....she's livin' it up in a super girly room and I wanted to show it to you all!
When we moved in, a "space" theme donned the walls, with mucho wallpaper and primary colours. It was a temporary guest room one Christmas, so for a quick fix Mr. Fix-it painted it a soft yellow and replaced all the baseboards. A good tip to create drama in a room is build up your baseboards. Even if you're original baseboards aren't high and gorg, you can make them beauty buy adding trim to the top of them.

I really loved his room but it was time for him to move into the big boy room and let his baby sister move in. Hello pink, gold and polka dots.
Our baby girl's room is now one of my fav rooms in the house. It's bright, fresh and girly.
Want to know how to get this polka dot look on your walls? They're fresh.fabulous.sophisticated, come in a bunch of colours and easy to do. They would be fab in an office, playroom or how about as a backsplash in a kitchen. If you're renting, these are a great way to add temporary gorg to your walls.
